Use the office that owns the question. The DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office gives its published local status instruction. The County Clerk holds county-court records. City citations go to the municipal clerk. Call ahead. Contact routes provide access, not case results. The Sheriff explains its status procedure; the issuing clerk answers court-date and recall questions. Confirm current hours before any visit or payment. For a Sheriff warrant-status question, follow the official in-person ID direction rather than expecting a phone or web search. For a docket or next court date, contact the clerk that keeps the file. The Sheriff says the jail does not maintain court dockets.

For a DPS license-renewal hold, contact the court that reported the FTA or FTP and then follow DPS instructions. DPS staff cannot provide a universal warrant search. Allow the posted update period after court clearance and ask the reporting office if the hold remains.

This site does not operate these offices and cannot accept case information for them. Use only the official agency page or phone number, and call before travel because hours and procedures can change.
